Fall 2021 Transition Favorites

I do love the summertime, but when it comes to fashion and putting outfits together, fall is the absolute best! I've been trying to find pieces that are versatile enough to transition from one season to the next, and here are a few of my favorites to bring from summer into fall!

Transition Sweater

I absolutely LOVE this sweater! It is off the shoulder, slightly distressed and lightweight to wear on a cooler summer/fall evening! The color is also the perfect pinky-mauve for the change of seasons! I paired it of course with the KanKan mom-jeans from Copper & Lace, and you can change up the shoes from sandals to booties, too!

Fun Tank-top w/ Jacket

Finding fun and interesting tanks are some of the best things you can do because they are so easy to layer a sweater or jacket on top of!
I love this fun, flirty one from Idem Ditto (bought at Reign Boutique) and paired it with my go-to denim jacket and black skinny jeans!

Another great piece to have is a fancier body suit tank! This one has a silky feel with some embroidery along the top. This is perfect to wear as-is with a pair of jeans, but can also easily transition into fall with a blazer or black leather jacket over it! This top came in a variety of colors from Copper & Lace Boutique!

These distressed KanKan mom-jeans are also from Copper & Lace and will definitely be a fall staple!

Lightweight Midi Dress

I am obsessed with the brand Z Supply, especially their dresses from this past summer!
The fabric is so light, soft and comfortable, and the versatility is endless! I love this short sleeve midi-dress because it could be casual enough to wear everyday, but nice enough to dress up for a fancier occasion! Pair this with a jacket and booties and you have the perfect fall outfit!

Stand-Alone Tanks

Some tanks are better left uncovered, but still pair wonderfully with black or denim bottoms! And this is definitely ok, especially here in the Midwest where we constantly fluctuate between hot & cold for the beginning months of fall! This one is from Copper & Lace and I love the shoulder detail! I paired it with my favorite black skinny jeans from Abercrombie and this gold necklace from Uncommon James that is great for layering!

This is another great standalone or layering tank because of the subtle shoulder detail! You can do so much with this type of top like leave it simple and add some statement earrings or necklaces, or eventually layer a jacket or sweater on top for a chilly evening! Either way, you can't go wrong with a black top!

October B.Bungalow try-on

It's Fall, Y'all!

I was able to go Into B.Bungalow located in Libertyville, IL to do a try on of some of their new products to share with you! This boutique is owned by Sarah Potempa, Erin Potempa & Emily Potempa (also owners of the Beachwaver Co.) and is run by Nina Ryan, all of whom are women who grew up locally in Libertyville!

I love this store not only for what It stands for, but for ALL of the products that they have! It is a one-stop shop for fashion, accessories, home decor and gifts! Here is a look and link to each of the tops that I tried on for this month!

Flutter Sleeve Cheetah Print Top

This is such a nice lightweight, flowy top to dress up or dress down! It comes to a mock-turtleneck fit at the top with button closures and is perfect to be tucked or untucked

Sanctuary Tie-Dye Lou Lou Shirt with
Blank NYC Lonestar Jacket

This jacket paired with this top is absolute perfection! I love the fit of the top on its own, with the open-shoulder detail, but the jacket elevated it even more!

Z Supply Kaye Feather Cardigan with Sub_Urban Riot Gratitude T-shirt

This look is so cozy and comfortable but still fashionable at the same time! This might be the softest sweater I've ever worn, and even the loose-fitting tee is super soft!

Sanctuary Warm Me Sweater
This light pink sweater is so luxurious! I love the detail of the ribbing on this top and that it is so loose-fitting but still makes a great shape! It is loose fitting around the shoulders and underarms, but just hits perfectly!

THML Animal Print Sweater
Give me a leopard or cheetah print any day, but mixing different colors of it is just stepping it up even more! If you haven't heard, leopard is a neutral and pretty much goes with everything! :)
This sweater Is thicker and sturdier, but still so soft and comfortable!

RD Style Sand Twist Sweater
I ended up leaving the store with this baby! It is so different from any sweater that I already own, and I am loving the poofy-sleeve accent! This is another sweater that you can dress more casual with jeans and a cute sneaker or dress up with black jeans and wedges! I'll be wearing this one through the holiday season for sure!
