This has definitely been the year for home improvement projects!
Want one that won’t break the bank? I sure needed one with the front room makeover I have going on simultaneously, slowly and much more pricey!
We needed to freshen up this powder room because it is so often used and just was becoming sort of an eyesore to me. We used some leftover paint from our bedroom accent wall--this paint is the best quality! It only takes one coat!

I found the round mirror at Target for $60 along with the Hearth & Hand bathroom rug ($20), and the shelves on Amazon for $25! Amazon Shelves Target Round Mirror Hearth & Hand (Target) Rug | With the paint already being paid for, the only things that I wanted to change out were the light fixture, mirror, shelves and small rug...but those things add up! I found a Pinterest post about revamping an outdated vanity light fixture by just spray painting the fixture matte black and adding different glass shades (they were $6 each at Menards!) I went an extra step and got the fancy Edison lightbulbs to complete the industrial-farmhouse vibe that I was going for! I ended up saving about $50 by just refinishing the existing fixture and it was super quick! Replacement Glass at Menards Vintage Style Lightbulbs All in all, this was one of the cheaper redecorating projects I have completed and I am SO happy with how it turned out! What Is your next home project? I have a few lined up! XOXO Jamie |
